so I have a 2010 Ford Focus,I just took it to get the oil changed. After the Mechanics were done I get into the care and I noticed on the display it says something like "Mykey is activate" odd I've never seen this before I think to myself,then I try and turn the radio up and it says that the Volume limit is set to a level due to mykey WTF ? so after getting back to the office and doing a little Googling I've found out mykey is a way for the owner of a car (think parent or maybe a rental company) to set "safe" parameters for the car. That's great but I never set this up,I have no idea how the people at jiffy lube set it up and best off all my only key which is now the "Admin key" doesn't seem to be able to access the fucking Mykey settings! WTF !so I called ford and they told me they don't understand the problem and their gonna have to mail me a new key ? WTF my car was fucking fine!!
I guess that's what I get for buying a fucking soccer mom car

I don't know. If that shit is still under warranty, the dealership... that's what I did with my car until last year, now I take it to the guy that my dad's shop takes everything to and that kept my piece of shit ford running for four years longer than it should have.

Ford probably programed that mykey to turn on if you reset the oil change light without some special code.
