'Lego Movie’ Sequel Gets Phil Lord, Chris Miller Script Commitment

EXCLUSIVE: Phil Lord and Chris Miller have signed on with Warner Bros to write The Lego Movie sequel. They wrote and directed the first film, but it has been an open question of whether they would return beyond producing the sequel. It’s a big step for Warner Bros to broaden the franchise. No word on whether they’ll direct it.

Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet And Gorilla Grodd, In One Glorious Lego Set

Lego's DC Comics Superheroes line has been home to some fantastic sets, but this might just be the best:A Lego Invisible Jet! Gorilla Grodd! The Flash! A Bat-Mech! And even better - it's out this week!

Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas - OF COURSE IT'S CALLED THAT TAKE MY MONEY YES PLEASE THANK YOU - doesn't actually have all that much Lego in it, but it makes up for it with the sheer amount of delightful absurdity within. Batman of course tries to crash the party (like basically every DC Lego set - who hasn't got a legion of Lego Batmen at this point?) with his really rather silly giant Batmech, but not even the Dark Knight can overshadow Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet

New LEGO RPG Announced for Mobile Devices

Nexon Korea has partnered with Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment and TT Games to publish a LEGO RPG with several LEGO properties.

So far, Nexon has only announced LEGO Ninjago as one of the properties featured in the mobile game. It's unclear whether the RPG will include some of the major LEGO properties, such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, but Nexon said in a press release that more announcements are coming. The game is scheduled for a 2016 release –– initially in Asia –– on iOS and Android devices.

Lego Joins the ‘Scooby-Doo’ Gang

Scooby-Doo is joining a roster of popular playsets, including “Star Wars,” “Harry Potter” and DC Comics’ superheroes, that Lego has brought to life through its building blocks.

The characters of Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma will become available as Lego minifigures starting in August, while the Mystery Machine van, a mummy museum mystery and haunted lighthouse playsets will also be sold.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products made the deal as Warner Bros. is looking to put more of a spotlight on the property through new live action films, and animated straight-to-video films, like “Scooby-Doo WrestleMania Mystery” last year. A sequel to that film is now in the works.

The Lego deal will also involve a 22-minute animated special that will promote the “Scooby-Doo” characters.

Mummy Museum Mystery (75900) – $14.99
Mystery Plane Adventures (75901)
The Mystery Machine (75902) - $29.99
Haunted Lighthouse (75903)
Mystery Mansion (75904) – $89.99

Two Adorable Lego Dinobots Transform Into Even More Adorable Lego Dinos

These smaller-scaled versions of Grimlock and Sludge by Flickr User Chief Supreme are already cutesy little builds - but they're all the more impressive that they can fully transform into their dinosaur counterparts. And they still look just as cute!
