And post #2, now up on the main page, is one in response to the whole uproar from 1 Million Moms and other groups about gay characters: http://www.theouthousers.com/index.php/ ... piper.html

Damn, now I keep seeing the Guardians in terms of my old bosses. Very odd imagery.

The Injustice League gears up for another run, but they got to get people first. What sort of interview questions should they be asking? Read to find out!

Most supervillains, especially the genius inventors, should be able to make a perfectly lucrative and legit career. Some eventually do, while others finally admit it's not about the money (and probably never was).

I have to take issue with the Mysterio example, though. His origin used to be that he was fired as an fx man, showing that it's quite possible he simply couldn't make it legitimately for some reason. Also, the market for practical fx shrinks every day. (In fact, having him turn villain as frustration against the cgi field might be a good modern interpretation.)

Supervillains tend towards having personality types that don't play well with being someone's underling at a company. As to the specific Mysterio part, I think he fits well in this mold. With his own company/vision, he could revolutionize FX. A lot of corporate structures have great people that bomb out because their management sucked horribly.

Hehe.

My point was more that as his own boss, running his own FX company, he won't have that issue again.
