Yes, House of Cards got nominated for a number of Emmys.

No surprise there Walking Dead is a terrible show, terribly written and mostly terribly acted.

To be honest, the comic is not as good lately either (I read in trade, so maybe it's gotten better).

I know the big high concept was 'a Zombie movie that doesn't have to end', but maybe there was a good reason that they end?

The comic has had a lousy year, I'm closer to dropping it than I've ever been.

Sweet. I loved House of Cards (it wasn't perfect, but very very good).

The writing for Game Of Thrones and Orange Is The New Black is so much smarter than the writing for The Walking Dead because the writers know how to mine the source material and pace it for episodic television. The writers for TWD take the source material and hammer it into cliches we've seen on TV shows time and time again. And they really broke the cardinal rule of TWD by becoming too attached to David Morrissey the actor.

Justified got 0 noms this year. I'm surprised House of Cards and said show didn't get noms in writing. The pilot and episode 12 was just so damn good. Oh well, American Horror Story: Asylum did well.

Seriously. Season 4 was one of the best things on TV I've ever seen.

What does Walt Goggins have to do to get any respect?

Well GOT does have a great plot, a great cast AND has better zombies. There is no way Walking Dead could win. :)

Justified is my favorite show on television right now. The fact that the actor who plays Art, Walton Goggins, Mike O'Malley, or Timothy Olyphant got no recognition is a crime. They were all incredible this past season.

The last season of Walking Dead definitely didn't deserve any nominations. The second half of the season was so bad that I might not even watch it this year. I won't be picking up the season 3 box set either.

Agreed - she not only acts better than many other noms - she has to act differently for each character. Biggest snub I can think of.

Jason Bateman is up for Arrested Development too.
