Gas in Cairo is $1.40

I was talking to Fahd (hulk432) on IM and he said that gas in Cairo, where he lives, is 2 Egyptian pounds a liter. A few calculations later, I found out that that's the equivalent of $1.40 a gallon in US dollars. :shock:

This makes me sad, considering gas here is projected to be $5 by July 4th.

And Europeans, don't complain.

Well, he's also alot closer to the source of all that gas, so transportation costs aren't added onto the total..

The dates are incredible!!!!! also when ashley gets back from San diego she'll be taking the bus to work from now on.

It's 1.34 here, per litre.
