Ghostbusters game

Postby Chesscub » Wed Nov 25, 2009 12:13 am

I tried out the Ghostbuster demo that came out a couple of months ago finally. I was not impressed at all.

Did anyone else try it and if so, does it get better?

it's really a great game. It takes getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it is a really fun game.

Seconded. I love the game. It feels like an authentic Ghostbusters experience while taking some liberties with the material, notably by adding to the proton pack. The story mode is on the short side (I would estimate about 8 hours), but there's a lot of fun to be had in the multiplayer, which adds to the value. Unlike a lot of games, this multiplayer is almost entirely cooperative, which has a big appeal to me.

Shit, now I want to play it. :D

I beat this game like a cheap whore and LOVED every second of it.

I got like 90% of the trophies too.

I really enjoyed it. Very funny, and the gameplay was also entertaining. Felt like Ghostbusters 3.

Very fun game. Felt like a proper sequel to the movies.

Fantastic game. Felt every bit like a Ghostbuster while playing it. The controls were a bit wonky at first, but it's easy even on the hardest difficulty level.

Is the multiplayer local or online based?

I guess it was the controls that were pissing me off. I was having a hard time directing the ghost into the trap in the demo.

Then again maybe it was cause I was taking a break from Conan where the controls were spoonfed easy.

But that Conan game is terrible. :?

Ghostbusters is alright.

Not something I'd purchase for more than 20 bucks though.

Wii version looks stupid. If they had to go cartoony then couldn't they have at least used the cartoon versions from the Saturday morning show?

Again I ask... video game geeks...

Is the multiplayer mode local or on-line?

I liked it a lot myself. I just wish it was a little longer. It really felt like a true Ghostbusters experience.
