The GI Joe Convention is this weekend, and Hasbro is showing off some "Concept" figures from the Pursuit/30th Anniversary lines. There's a ton of a great looking stuff that we could have gotten if they didn't have to push out Retaliation tie-ins. Hopefully they'll put some of this stuff out next year. Man, just look at that Hit & Run...

Oh, and I finally got my hands on a Pursuit of Cobra Low Light.

Those are some much better pics. I can't believe these things got shelved for Retaliation. I just can't. I mean, they wouldn't show them off if they weren't planning on releasing them as a placeholder line later this year or as later Retaliation waves, right? It seems almost...cruel.

I wonder if they were thinking of doing a GI Joe: The Movie DVD box set like they did with other cartoon sets.

I think so because next to the snake-man CC is one of those Cobra-La footsoldiers.

Yes. Yes it is. Especially that mini Rolling Thunder-like vehicle.

The Metal Gear Solid looking trooper in the last pic is cool, and of course the Night Viper is a must get. Otherwise, I don't see much that I'm interested in.
