Do you dislike Global Warming just because Al Gore is the main spokesman bout it? If say a conservative was the the big mouth preaching this stuff, would you still dislike it?

I dislike it because it's a sham that Gore and his buddies have made millions off of while being proven to have lied and falsified information about it while bullying anyone in the scientific community who disagrees with them. The way it uses guilt to bilk money out of people is very similar to religion, IMO.

If anyone else was shilling global warming in the same way, I would hate it too. Actually, I really have no problems with Gore other than this. Does he even stand for any other issues? He was just Bill Clinton's useless sidekick, and I liked Clinton.

Can't speak for Jude, but for me, no, I could care less that Gore is the main spokesman for it, though with his penchant for getting caught in lies about it, or his incredible ignorance about this topic he's supposed to be such an expert on, he's hardly a great spokesman. And his rather obscene profiteering on it, plus his definitely obscene carbon consumption while he lectures the little people on how they must sacrifice doesn't make him a very good spokesman.

No, what frosts me about it is the poor science and arrogant attitude of all of its chief proponents, and the gargantuan cost that the little people of the world will pay to remedy this supposed threat while it's rich and powerful supporters reap enormous financial or professional benefits.

That, and the rampant fraud that scientists who are for it are going through to prove it, all while claiming the "science is settled". Which I'd like to point out was at one time the position on the sun orbiting around the Earth...
