Oh and there was the little incident where he pushed down an elderly gentleman who worked for the Red Sox because the guy couldn't get him a dozen or so tickets for a game.

He was so destructive to the clubhouse, that the players went to management and asked that they move him. This was in the midst of a playoff run, and they did end up one game away from the World Series.

No one doubts Manny's talent. You'd be an idiot to do that. But no one wants an aging prima donna for 6 years.

Yeah, he's older than 35 and teams are looking at what the Rays and Red Sox have done and are more cautious about multi-year deals for older players. He'll go somewhere.
