And now you wish you could have bought everything for 100?

Not really. The first and second big hardcovers were $20 and $25 respectively. They collect Invincible Iron Man 1-19 and 20-33, or the first six hardcover books. At ~$8/hc book that's $48 for those 6 books, so I saved $3. Admittedly not much but still savings!

Still I think $100 is a great price for all 12 books considering the second half of the series has yet to be released in big hardcover format.

I know. Even if you save 1 buck that's enough in my book.

Are Wolverine and the X-Men and Uncanny X-Men (Vol 2) worth reading? Also, how about Remender's Uncanny X-Force, will I be lost if I start at the beginning of that series?

Wolvy & the X-Men -- hell yes. highly recommended.

which volume is Uncanny vol. 2? Gischler's vampires vs. X-men stuff? if so, stay away at all costs

UXF -- you will not be lost. it is awesome. recommended.

Yes to Wolverine & the X-Men and Uncanny X-Force. If there's anything you're not sure of, you can always look it up on wikipedia or ask in the forums. I stopped w/ current X-Men stuff after Messiah Complex but jumped back in with both of those titles and have enjoyed them a lot.

The Uncanny X-Men stuff by Gillen never got my attention.

Thanks, it is the Gillen run. The vampire stuff looked bad.

It doesn't sound like many have read Gillen's Uncanny X-Men.

I read it. It's ok, but really, I'd skip it and read Aaron's Wolverine and the X-Men and Bendis's All-New and Uncanny instead.

I've heard good things about All New, but I wasn't sure about Uncanny.
