I see that Patrick Rothfuss book in your sig, that cover has caught my eye quite a bit. I read your review so I see that you enjoyed it. In what vein is this book? LIke it is urban fantasy or what?

It's just plain fantasy, or high fantasy or whatever it's called. Not modern.

It's told in mostly 1st person as it's a story being told to someone, so the present day stuff occurs 3rd person then when he sits to tell his tale it goes to 1st.

The Wise Man's Fear is the second book though, you'll want to read 'Name of the Wind' first. Both very good. Most every reviewer I follow raves about them too, so you don't just have to take my word for it. (And I think a few outhousers read that as well).
