Honest Trailers Takes On 'Man of Steel'

This has got to be the funniest damn thing I've seen this week.

If you loved Man of Steel, then I have nothing to offer you.  However, if, like me, you find yourself hoping Lex Luthor wins when he finally faces Superman, or Batman beats the crap out of him somehow when they meet, then you might get a chuckle out of the latest Honest Trailer:

That was my favorite part, too!

It's a movie made by people who, honestly, hate everything about Superman, FOR people who, honestly, hate everything about Superman.

This is Superman the general public wants.

Not the one the world actually needs.

I would say this movie was made by people who hate superheroes, period.

He honors them both by showing off his powers and letting people die.

This sums up everything wrong with the movie. Goddamn was that movie a tedious, depressing, grey slog to sit through. Then punching! And everyone dies because "Superman" can't be bothered to give a shit.

It completely unacceptable, unbelievable, and insulting for a superhero to not be a flawless example of moral perfection, 4 hours after putting on a pair of tights for the very first time. :smt011 :P

Or, he could have moved the Smallville fight slightly to left and fought them in the cornfields so he wouldn't destroy the IHOP. Now everyone is going to have to eat at Denny's. At least everyone in Metropolis is dead, so they don't have to eat at Denny's.He should have just killed everyone in town with his heat vision and saved Smallville from a fate worse than death.

To be fair, IHOP is terrible. I have never been in an IHOP anywhere in the country that I didn't have to wait for a ridiculous amount of time between the moment I sat down to the moment that my server came to my table or from the moment that they took my order to the moment that I received my food. Everybody involved in that fight was doing Smallville a favor by demolishing it.
