IGPX Returns to Toonami on April 27

The anime co-produced by Cartoon Network is returning to the Toonami line-up.

On their tumblr, Toonami announced the return of another of their old original programs, IGPX (aka Immortal Grand Prix). No word yet on what time it'll air on the block, but it'll start airing on April 27 (along with introducing the new TOM and Absolution designs).

Alas this doesn't mean new episodes. Just the show's original run, which was twenty-six episodes. Further in their tumblr post, Toonami expressed yet again the fact that they cannot reacquire the rights to Megas XLR. They wish they can, but it's a different animal. Still, for those who hold out hope the fact that they contiue to repeat this message shows that there's a possiblity that the people behind Toonami have been trying but haven't worked out the kinks. Maybe one day they will, until then enjoy the fact they got IGPX back on air!
