Yeah I heard. If this movie presumably takes place before Logan joined the X-Men how would he and Jean know about each other. Unless it's some premonition of the future.

Maybe it's a flashback and they met before he was shot with the Adamantium bullet that erased his memory :D

But that's the thing, Wolverine didn't meet Jean until he went Xavier's school which would take place after this film. So unless this movie rebooted the first X-Men film then there is a continuity error here.

The director has said this movie takes place after x-3. And that he has left the x-men after jeans death.

I see. I had heard this was supposed to take place after X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Thanks for the update.

Yeah, I just got the update. I was really hoping that the director would ignore X: 3 all together but alas not.

well technically if it takes place after x-3 its still taking place after X-Men Origins: Wolverine, since that movie took place before the X-Men movies...

I honestly find it hard to believe anyone even wants to try to reconcile the continuity in the X movies.

What does Bryan Singer have to do with this movie?

Something tells me Bryan Singer has nothing to do with this movie.
