The upgrade initially came with quote nesting and it was horribly annoying so Jude awesomely turned it off.

I think the request was to add it as an option, kinda like on the old board where if you scrolled down you could quote multiple posts

but not to make it a default

Yep.

You can edit or delete them before they are read as long as they're still in the Outbox.
