With the schedulebeing posted yesterday, just what are the two new progams:Deadman Wonderland and Casshern: Sins, showing on Toonami about?
Deadman Wonderland is an action/horror anime based on a manga by Jinsei Kataoka and illustrated by Kazuma Kondou. It'll be a twelve episode series that's English Adaptation was done by Funimation. The series is about a massive earthquake hitting Japan and annihilating Tokyo. Ten years later, a young survivor named Ganta and his class-mates by a man covered in blood and who's wearing crimson armor. Instead of killing him like his fellow students, the man marks Ganta with a symbol and leaves. Ganta is then blamed for the massacre and quickly sentenced to prison. Now Ganta must survive through the prison caste system and find out who the mysterious Crimson Man is. That is if the other inmates don't kill him that is. The show will air on Toonami at 12:30 Eastern Standard time.
Casshern Sins is a reboot of a classic anime series that was animated via Madhouse and developed for English translation by Funimation. It is a twenty-four episode series that's about a cyborg named Casshern, who has turned his back on his machine masters but is still targeted by humanity for being the soldier who subjugated them. Thus fighting robot and human alike, Casshern must find his true purpose in this world and to redeem himself through the various crimes he's committed being a former leader of the machines. The series will air on Toonami at 1 am Eastern Standard time.
Both shows along with Bleach, will be the only new programing thus far seen on Toonami. Given that Deadman Wonderland is only twelve episodes no doubt Adult Swim has another anime they've purchased which will air once the series finishes it's twelve episode run.

Just to clarify. Casshern/Casshan was originally a manga in a magazine. The "classic" series Shinzo Ningen Casshan, was animated by Tatsunoko. There was an orgiginal video series by Tatsunono and Artmic in the early 90s. Sins, the recent series, is animated by Madhouse.
"Deadman Wonderland" is some crazy fucked up shit ! And there is an insane amount of swearing that, even though bleeped, makes me and the boyfriend giggle like little girls while we watch it
