GKids to Release Patema Inverted in N. American Theaters

Distribution company GKids will release Patema Inverted, the new anime film by Time of Eve and Pale Cocoon creator Yasuhiro Yoshiura, in theaters in North America in 2014 or later. The film is also slated for release in the United Kingdom, Germany, Korea, and Taiwan.

Patema Inverted takes place in an underground world where tunnels extend everywhere. Even though they live in dark and confined spaces, people wear protective clothes and lead quiet and enjoyable lives. Patema, a princess in her underground village, loves to explore the tunnels. Her favorite place is a "danger zone" that her village prohibits people from entering. Even though she's scolded, Patema's curiosity can't be held back. No one ever explained what the supposed danger was.

On her usual trip to the "danger zone," Patema faces unexpected events. When hidden secrets come to light, the story begins to unfold, starting with a boy who lives upside-down to her world. "When you let go of her arm, the girl falls to the sky."

Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? 4-Panel Manga Gets Anime by White Fox

The cover of the January issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Max magazine is announcing on Tuesday that a television anime adaptation of Koi's Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? (Is the order a rabbit?) manga has been green-lit.

In the four-panel manga, the main character Kokoa (a pun of “hot cocoa”) arrives at the cafe Rabbit House one day, excited for rabbits. She actually all but lives in that café. She meets lots of different girls there, including a tiny and cool girl named Chino (from “cappucino”), a tough and soldier-esque girl named Lize (“Thé des Alizés” tea), a spacey and quintessentially Japanese girl named Chiyo (“Uji matcha” tea), and the ordinary but dignified Sharo (“Kilimanjaro” coffee).

I talked with Arthur Suydam yesterday and today:

And I also gave him an issue of The Gathering. He insisted on having it signed, so I signed it for him. What a great guy, I had so much fun talking to him.

Saint Seiya Omega has been of late. Latest episode featured Shun, the Andromeda Saint kicking ass.

Thing that gets me though, the modern characters are so boring and I mean damn boring compared to the classic. Yuna is nice with her spinning star kicks... I mean... Divine Tornado kick... but really... boring.

I always liked Shun. I think after Cygnus my favorite would probably be Andromeda.

I prefer Ikki the Phoenix first, then Shiryu the Dragon and then Hyoga the Cygnus.

Well, at least we have one in common. Phoenix is great too.
I must say, though, I love Shun's green hair and I've always had a soft spot for blonde guys...

Oh yeah, it was such a great moment.
After all the recent problems and bad things, saying hello to Suydam and talking to him made really happy.
