I was a little disappointed that 2 didn't feature a Chuck Norris-vs.-Jean-Claude Van Damme fight.

From what I've seen over at AICN, Segal IS in it and Micky Rourke is coming back.

Don't see him on IMDB. Or Seagal for that matter.

It would have been way better than that disappointing fight between Stallone and Van Damme as I hate how they built JCVD's character to be this badass villain and then have him get so easily beaten. If they had made the fight longer and more even like with the Stallone/ Stonecold fight, it would have been better. Hopefully the Stallone/ Gibson fight will be much better in the third one.

Could be that Norris just wasn't up for it. Guy's 73 years old...

Or it surprising didn't come up in the script. Stallone is kind of the central character, so yeah, he's going to take down the big bad (again). But even a brief brawl would've been a nice nod to when these guys were first popularized.

Stallone's in his sixties. And Norris is an in-shape butt-kicking 73. Plus he's one of what, three legit martial arts terrors they've cast in the two extant movies? Along with Cotoure and Lundgren? Counting only the guys who fought legit of course, not the Lee types who were great movie fighters. Though didn't Rourke box?

On another note, what's Fred Ward doing these days? He'd be great for this...

As would Eastwood, in a non running and jumping role.

And man, they've GOT to put Chiba in this, in some sort of role.
