Trying to be nice (and to avoid multiple uses of the word "shit"), I wish CC would move to GeNext and leave Exiles.

Who would you guys like to see writing Exiles?

Bring back Winick or Bedard.

Both of those guys really did great work on the book. Winick filled it with great character moments and Bedard made all of Austen's stuff work (mostly). Would love to have either of them back.

As for new folks? I know it'd never happen but I'd LOVE to see Kirkman or Slott on the book...

Judd Winnick if he could capture the same feelings he had before, maybe Dan Slot, Peter David, or Robert Kirkman.

Marvel created this new Exiles book specifically so that Claremont could go hog wild in his own little corner of the MU. I doubt very much that the book everyone loved is going to come back anytime soon...

Yeah, but the fact that almost everyone I talk to dislikes New Exiles makes me nostalgic for what we had and what we could have had.

The best arc of all time was 9-12 I believe, the 3 parter where they were on a skrull infested earth where the heroes of the world fought in a gladiator type of thing. The skrulls flee because of galactus and its up to our exiles and the rest of the heroes to save the day.

Also featured the coolest thunderbird moment.

As long as you're not secretly Chris Claremont or Chuck Austen, it'd probably be better than what we're getting.

So, if YOU were the new writer (this goes to any and everyone), what would you do with the book?

I've nothing good to say about Claremont's Exiles, except that it will be canceled. I've seen the numbers.

Then Claremont will be given something else to do. I will lay money it will involve Psylocke and Rogue (or rather, characters that he has created).

I would bring back Mimic and Blink to the team, return Morph to normal Morph not Proteus Morph, bring back the Timebrokers and Timebreakers. Get rid of Sabretooth and all the characters that Claremont introduced.

Get a brand new team. All the members were pulled one second from their deaths. The leader would be either a grown up Iron Lad (Man) where he didn't become Kang or Aron the Watcher.

I wouldn't even mention Clarment Team, the old Exiles or even the substitute Exile seen in Then and Now.

I would bring back anyone can die feeling.

After a while maybe 50 issue it would be a big event. New, New Exiles/New Exile/Exile/ Sub Exile all together where they have to fight Proto-Morph, Hyperion, Iron Man ( The one from Weapon X), World War Hulk and maybe some one else.

It would be a massarce on the Exiles killing most every one.

After a huge battle only 7 Exiles are alive:

Mimic-Returned from the dead
Sabretooth
Power Fist
Scarlet Spider
Spitfire
Kid Omega
Thing
