LobsterJ recommended this site to me - it works like an online catalog for your book collection, with the added possibility of social networking thrown in (though way better than Shelfari). Membership is free if your catalog is 200 books or less, but anything more than that is paid: $10 per year or $25 for a lifetime membership.

I like it a great deal. I'm almost done cataloging our collection: http://www.librarything.com/catalog.php ... thorunflip

That is very cool. My wife and I might try that out. We would have to pay though; we have in excess of 3,000 books.

I reckon it's worth the money. As I say, a year's membership is only $10 (if you don't renew it in a year they don't cancel your account, you just won't be able to add any more books until you do), while lifetime membership is on a sliding scale of what people think it's worth: $25 is the consensus, but I think you can pay as little as $21.

I love LibraryThing. I use it a tad differently, though. Instead of cataloging my entire library, I use it to keep track of books I've read (since my divorce, needed a reasonable starting point).

I know someone who says he's never read a book. I would suspect he was illiterate if he didn't spend so much time reading Faceborg updates all day long.

I have a spreadsheet with my trades and books (I don't have a lot) but this is much cooler.

Your cover to Changes is different than mine.

I think that's all for now. My next project is to create a separate list for the kids' books and use it to bring order to that particular chaos...

Played with this a while ago, didn't know they charged now.

Also did Goodreads:

Haven't looked at either in a long time.

I like the fact they have comics too.
