By the way, for anyone who gets SNY, I was interviewed for their show, Mets weekly yesterday, on my way into the game, for a segment on Lenny Dykstra. Not sure if I made it or not, but I think it airs tomorrow at noon.

There's no question of it being built. They're just lobbying for more funding from the city.

I thought they said on the news that they were seeking public funding and that if not met, it might not get built.

is all bullshite?

Of course it's bullshit.

Steinbrenner has more money than that in his couch cushions.

They just want the city to fund more of it.

That's pretty much the case here.

I have mixed feelings on the matter. I'm not a fan of public funds going to private business, but on the other hand, at least my taxes will go to something I'll enjoy for once.

I sure hope so.

Pettitte and Wang have stepped up recently.

If Mussina keeps doing what he's doing and Joba lives up to even a fraction of the hype, I'll be a lot more optimistic about this team this season.
