Somebody gets it.

I've seen MoS four times now and I'd gladly go for a 5th viewing. I totally agree with your take on the Kents, especially Ma. I tear up in almost all of her scenes, just thinking about her telling Clark they were worried someone would take him away chokes me up. Pa is great too, he finally acts like a real father instead of a comic book cliche.

A straight friend of mine went to see this and even he said that Amy Adams wasn't hot enough for this Superman

I think that Amy Adams is pretty hot, but I didn't like her as Lois.

Agreed. She's very attractive; just not the right fit for Cavill's love interest.

I believe her when she says her first childhood crush was Superman because every time she looks at Cavill, she's clearly smitten with glossy eyes and a big goofy smile.

Adams is perfect for Lois, just like Kidder she's older and not exceptionally beautiful, unlike Durance, Hatcher or Bosworth who all paled in comparison.

Wow down another 45% and starting to look like it might peter out before $300M.

Someone put a fork in it.

Read it and weep, fucking haters.

Your looking at 8-12 years for a possible reboot, most of you will be dead or senile by then.

It's going to cross the 600-million mark shortly. All-in-all, a HUGE success.
