Not just children, they wanted to see Zod massacre an entire family. Pro-Child Killing and Anti-Family? Sounds very anti-Superman to me.

People use to pay hangmen extra so their necks were snapped when they dropped because it was quicker and more humane than suffocating from the rope.

Pretty much the opposite of what you're saying.

This should be repeated a billion times. In the world established in Man of Steel, this is the first time Superman has ever faced something of this magnitude. Of course he's going to fuck up.
