An exciting point in any comic book TV show, the moment a new second string section member is cast!

She isn't playing an agent.

Second string meaning "someone you don't care about" and string section because she's a cellist. No mention of her being an agent of anything besides implied tedium.

I for one am excited about the prospect of learning more about Phil Coulson beyond being an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Hopefully the introduction of Amy Acker as the Cellist will provide us with a little more backstory.

Don't know if this was posted but...there's 7 ep's left as 2 more aired since January 17th. At least we're guaranteed to find out.

Curious how the ending to Winter Soldier will affect this series, I've tried my hardest to avoid them but stumbled on a pretty big one that totally nukes this shows status quo: SHIELD is disbanded.

I have the last couple of episodes DVRed, but I have not gotten up the interest to watch them. I guess that says something bad about the series. There are other shows that I turn on while they are in the middle of DVRing (I just wait long enough so that I can play it from the start and the show has enough "lead time" to allow me to zip past commercials), but not SHIELD. I will sometimes look at it on the list of things in my DVR, but I just can't get up enough interest to watch ti at this point.

Which means... I'm not sure I will bother to keep DVRing it or even watching it after this season is over. It just has been... I dunno... it's not bad, but I'm generally bored by it.

Deathlok is terrible. Lumbers around like Frankenstein, his locked on missile went a mile wide from standing opposite Mei and prefers his awkward slow Great Khali-like hand to hand combat style to weapons.

What a waste when you've got Titus, Clark Gregg, Saffron Burrows and Bill Paxton supporting the ep.

This was an awesome episode!!

Blake is the one behind it all. That's my current theory.

That much I agree with as so much stuff happened but Deathlok dragged it down for me. Badly.

This.

I think Mei is working directly for Fury.

This is going to lead to LMDs.

The only time he looked like Deathlok.

Also... Stark is going to get pissed off. His Iron Man tech got stolen.
