just because something is actively in development doesn't mean anything comes from it. the Aquaman show made it to pilot, same with Wonder Woman, series didn't come from that.

That means nothing. Fables was in development at one point too.

Hawkeye seems to be exactly the same as the Ultimates version.
The Avengers work for SHIELD.
The Hulk is used as a secret weapon not to get the team together.
Fury is black.
Stark seems more like Ultimate Stark IMO.

But I also agree that budget concerns were probably Hawkeye and Widow were chosen.

I think Stark, Cap, Hulk-who is not a cannibal lol, Thor are all like the regular universe

only Fury seems ultimate to me (and likely Hawkeye) but they've been minor so far.

trilogy for each movie (except none for Hulk).

At this point, Hulk is a failed franchise.

I don’t know that they’d risk more money on him when the last two movies did not do all that well.

It's weird. On paper, you'd expect Hulk to do better than Thor and Iron Man. He's got to be one of the most well-known superheroes and the concept is just immediately accessible to everyone: he gets mad, turns green and smashes things.

But his movies, he wasn’t really much of a personality. In the comics, he talks, etc. In the movies, barely. There is no Hulk character except maybe the last scene with the Abomination. He’s just a force of nature banner wants to escape. No personality.

Well, it's possible that The Avengers generates some interest - I reckon Ang Lee's arty film (which I kind of liked) turned a few people off the idea, and they need to be won back.

It would be interesting to see a Hulk movie that explored the different facets of the Hulk.. would love to see gray Hulk.

Hulk turns into a giant green guy. There's not much "reality" there. Non human based characters always struggle.

I don't know that I see Marvel taking a chance with Hulk again, with a 3rd actor anytime soon.

If Marvel ever decided to give a character another movie chance I'd rather see them give it to Silver Surfer then Hulk.

Marvel NEEDS to regain the Daredevil rights and do that property justice.

It should be a dark and gritty crime movie, with some better casting - not the Bennifer Experiment.

True. Remember that massive flop that ruined Spielberg's career in 1982?
