I May Vote for Obama

Postby S.F. Jude Terror » Fri Apr 27, 2012 2:02 am

After all is said and done, the white House spoke out against SOPA and says it will veto this:

As much as NPWFBH has annoyed me over the past four years, it seems he's the only one in the government standing up for freedom and privacy on the net.

Very disappointed in the republican House.

I can't believe any Republican would vote for Mitt Romney. He's not even a real fucking Republican! The only thing Republican about him is he's rich. He's not Christian, he's totally anti-gun and he filed three deferments, including one as a Mormon missionaries, to get out of miltary service.

I think all the politicians are so far removed from what America needs and wants that it's not even funny, and are only in it for their own personal gain.

That said, my own values fall just a bit closer to Democrat, so I'll vote that way. It's not like there is any other choice.

You can thank the media for driving away anyone who might be competent by digging up every shred of useless dirt and then blowing it massively out of proportion just to create ratings for themselves. Now the only people who get to run for office are those people corrupt enough to cover up even their most insignificant transgressions. 24 hour news networks were to the worst invention in recent history.

You're disappointed? Name one republican politician* that even knows how to log on to the internet let alone understands the issues involved. When they openly admit they don't read the bills, you just can't expect anything from them.

*Or democrat, for that matter.

I normally accept their incompetence, but this constant campaign to legislate our rights away is grating on me.

This bill is worse than Obamacare. The Republicans have out Obama'd Obama. So by voting for Obama, I'd really be not voting for him.

You mean the Obamacare that Romney pioneered?

It's funny that the Republicans biggest dispute with Obama is over the medical system and they nominate the guy who invented it.

I'm not dumb enough to live in MA so I dunno about that.

I'm comparing them as massive bills that subvert the principles of the constitution. On that front, giving the government the right to arbitrarily decide people are "hackers" and then monitor all their Internet traffic is worse than forcing them to buy healthcare.
