I had no problem with Lebron wanting to get out of Cleveland, and I think a lot people agree with me on that. I think like myself people disliked the way he went about leaving. He made it seem like he was bigger than basketball, bigger than the NBA, that everything was all about him. Wanting to go and play with Wade and Bosh in Miami, thats cool man, go where the talent is and try to win you a championship. I had zero problem with that, I had a problem with him making such a spectacle of it all with "The Decision" and all the other bullshit. Lebron just made himself look like a huge egomaniac by doing that, thus making himself into "the bad guy" and Wade and Bosh became bad by association.

I am a Bulls fan though so now I have another reason to dislike the Heat as a whole, they kept my team out of the finals. I am glad that the Lakers are not in the finals this year as I dislike Kobe even more than I dislike Lebron. I will be pulling for Dirk and the Mavs to get their first NBA Championship this year now.

Miami courted 3 guys to play together that are stars. They got them to take pay cuts in a sport where everyone takes the most they can usually get even if it's to the detriment of the team. They should be commended for what they accomplished. Instead, it's tainted and they're somehow cheaters.

That's why I love them winning. It just gets everyone all riled up that it's beautiful.

It's weird that you enjoy this when they knocked your team out of the playoffs.

Miami didn't court anyone. Dwayne Wade broke rules to get these guys together. It doesn't matter cause the NBA won't do anything about it, but this was cheating down to the letter.

I agree with every part of this save the first sentence. Still, as a Cleveland fan, I can understand why he would want to leave, I just can't say that I don't have a problem with it.

Like Blue said it's the way LeBron carried this out that why it's tainted to some fans. He tried to make himself bigger than the NBA itself and the way he went to Miami. Then he goes promising a glorious dynasty. The man went out of his way to paint the Heat as the bad guy. Course it didn't help matters with the N.W.O. comparisons.

If the Heat do win in Dallas I want the Dallas fans to start throwing shit at the Heat just to keep the comparisons up.
