Really? This is CNN's latest:
Entertainer Michael Jackson was taken to a hospital on Thursday after suffering cardiac arrest, sources briefed on the situation told CNN.

A Los Angeles fire official told CNN that paramedics arrived at Michael Jackson's home after a 911 call.

Paramedics revived Jackson before taking him to the hospital.

Fire Capt. Steve Ruda told CNN a 911 call came in from a west Los Angeles residence at 12:21 p.m.

Ruda said Jackson was treated and transferred to the UCLA Medical Center.

Asked specifics of the patient's condition, the spokesman said he could not discuss them because of federal privacy laws.

The music icon from Gary, Indiana, was known as the "King of Pop."

Jackson was the seventh of nine children in a well-known musical family.

It is interesting to note however that the article does refer to him numerous times in the past tense.

Farrah, Michael.. who's next?

If you beleive in that sort of thing, he'd be number three, Farrah, Ed McMohan, and Micheal Jackson.

technically wasn't David Carradine first?

Oh I hate that myth. It almost makes you wish some one would pass just for it to be over and ignores so many that do also pass away. Those obit lists are scary but have a morbid curiosity to them. Who's gone that you didn't know had...

That whole 'celebrities die in threes' thing is bullshit, hundreds of people die every day, odds are some of them will be at least slightly famous.

Exactly and a lot of the times people are reaching when they define "celebrity"
