More Monsters for Legendary's Godzilla

Legendary Pictures appears to be taking it's cue and delivering an all out monster attack for their Godzilla film.

Source: EXCLUSIVE: LEGENDARY’S GODZILLA TO FEATURE MORE THAN ONE MONSTER

Earlier this week we learned the script to the movie is getting a rewrite and two producers dropped out. Next everyone's favorite casting choice Joseph Gordon Levitt was offered a role in the movie (he turned it down) and now it appears Superman himself, Henry Cavill is the top dog for whatever role that maybe.

Now CHUD is reporting during a webinar today for Warner Brothers promotional on the movie, two important bits of information was revealed:

- The movie will have THREE Kaiju in it. Godzilla and two other monsters. The pair are new exclusive creatures to the movie and not the usual Toho library of kaiju. Sorry to fans of King Ghidorah, Gigan, and Angurius.

- The movie will be done from the stand-point of a soldier and will be way different than Toho's Godzilla films.

The website stands firm on the information that was revealed today as well. However, they noted the plot points revealed today are from the original submitted script and not from Frank Darabount, who will be doing a rewrite on the script.

Interestingly, the supposed plot sounds a great deal like a current story-line going on in the mini-series Godzilla: Half Century War, which is from the point of view a Japanese soldier's fifty year history with the King of Monsters.Godzilla will hit the US May 14, 2014.
