http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/envelope/cotown/la-et-ct-nolan-warner-dc-justice-league-20120710,0,4654712.storyHome to such superheroes as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, DC has struggled to find the same success on the big screen as its Walt Disney Co.-owned rival Marvel Entertainment — despite having a better known collection of characters.
Nolan's Batman movies have been its only hits of the past decade, surrounded by modest flops such as 2006's "Superman Returns" and 2009's "Watchmen" and such major money-losers as 2010's "Jonah Hex" and last year's "Green Lantern."
Well no more DC Movies after Man of Steel until at least 2015 anyway.
As a result, top Warner executives had hoped that Nolan, who is producing next summer’s Superman reboot "Man of Steel," would agree to serve the same role on the studio's "Justice League," which may hit theaters in 2015.

Eh.
They should not try to compare Jonah Hex to those others. Watchmen was a good film but was more then your average non comic fan was ready to watch and enjoy. Give it time. It'll Wizard of Oz at some point. Superman Returns... nope, that was it.
Both DC and Marvel need better over all control on their flicks so stuff like Jonah Hex or Ghost Rider don't get made. Have those films all fit in shared universes and things will work. Well after including film makers whom really do like the comics and are not some how embarrassed by them, the concepts, the costumes, etc. plus see them as more then Saturday morning cartoons.

There's nothing left to be said about DC's inability to make anything good outside of Batman, that hasn't already been said.
So this post was pointless.

Only if it's recast, done right and done like the Lansdale/Truman series.
Otherwise, Megan Fox would have to be nekkid from start to finish and swinging on a brasspole... playing with herself... by a waterfall.. never speaking...
That and I originally meant to include the word "don't" as in don't get made.

1. I might have read it too fast, but I didn't see anything about Warner's closing up the movie shop on DC movies.
2. The solution to good DC movies is simple: good scripts.

Well the main reason why DC movies flop for the most part is incompetent writing and marketing. Although Marvel is considered the be-all, end-all of comics DC and WB are to blame for most of this. What DC should have done was push their Vertigo and Wildstorm imprints media wise instead of just relying on Batman.
On a separate note, wasn't there a sequel to RED that was supposed to drop at some point?

I think I misinterpreted what you were saying. I thought you meant something like DC was formally shutting down the division or something.
