Jason Segel is awesome, there's real love for the Muppets from the people working on the movie, they are all actual real puppets, and this should be better than all the made for DVD movies they've been doing lately. I'm looking forward to this movie.

what was their last theatrical release? Muppets from Space I think, which was pretty weak.

The movie prior to that, Muppet Treasure Island was pretty good.

Their Christmas special, Letters to Santa was really good and that was two years ago.

this one will really be known as 'Jason Segel's Muppets' so whether it fails or succeeds is gonna be all about him. I'm a fan of Segel's so I'm betting he'll deliver.

Nah. I haven't heard officially but I am guessing it is still muppets. I think they would have made a big deal if it differred.

By the way, the trailer for this is supposed to be attached to Pirates of the Caribbean.

And according to Wiki:

Sounds like a good plot for a Muppets movie. Muppets in the human world, celebrity cameos... that's the right formula.

The christmas special prior spoofing its a wonderful life was bad though, and the wizard of oz movie wasn't very good either.
