Going through my old music that I haven't listened to in ages....found this gem, a remake of the old Public Enemy B-Side:

Catching up on a lot of new music.

Listening to Purity Ring's Shrines. I'd never heard of them, but this is pretty good.

Just started listening to The Redland...these guys are pretty good, shame it took an old NBA 2k soundtrack for me to find their music. Here's a nice couple songs:

and when you click the 'music' button here they've got 2 mixtapes available for free DL:

Just picked up the new Fixx album "Beautiful Friction". Took a couple of listens and it's stuck in my head.

Saw a few great bands this weekend. And I saw Paramore. At The Drive-In, Mastodon, The Cure were all amazing live but the Foos were just as boring as I expected. I have no idea why they go down so well with anyone who buys more than one album a year.

Has anyone picked up the David Byrne and St Vincent album? I was looking forward to some new music from St Vincent, but David Byrne's vocals are a big turn off on the single. I'm just wondering if he sounds better on the other tracks.

Never did I think I'd hear Adventure Club remix Alexisonfire into a dubstep mix
http://soundcloud.com/adventureclubdubs ... o-a-friend

Takes a while for it to kick into gear but it's pretty good. pretty creative to pull it off.
