Absolutely love TV on the Radio, don't necessarily keep my ear to the tracks as it were and was unaware that there was a new one on the way. STOKED!

Alex Winston's creepy cover of Rolling Stones' Play With Fire would be great for an Eternal Darkness video game sequel commercial.

Nate Dogg was the only guy who could get away with singing the most inane shit and making it sound cool. If anyone else sung "Hey hey hey hey smoke weed every day" or "It ain't no fu-u-n if the homies can't have none" it would be awful. Nate Dogg made it awesome. He was the original Hook-man, before Akon or T-Pain or any of these wack poser niggas. Nate Dogg was real. It's all about Regulators.

Devin The Dude is a close 2nd. We all know his chorus to "I Just Wanna Fuck You", but he says some of the most far out choruses I've heard and they seem decent.

Yeah I like Devin the Dude sometimes, but he lacks the power that Nate had in his hooks. Nate had a voice and he didn't need autotune.

In the last week, I have been loving the following artists:

The Noisettes. (british pop rock band)(ex: Never Forget You, Saturday Night)
Akron/Family. (psychedelic folk) (example track: Running, Running)
Passion Pit. (electronica) (ex track: Sleepyhead, The Reeling)
Pinback (alternative rock) (ex track: Fortress)

I'd supply links, but I'm lazy.

Passion Pit is great.

I've been a big early 90's kick lately. Sunny Day Real Estate, Ween, AIC. Great stuff

I just heard the new Snoop Dogg album and while it's mostly more of the same there are a couple of interesting tracks: one is a collaboration with Gorillaz and the other is an acoustic (sung) duet with Willie Nelson.

I heard the Gorillaz track and I didn't care for it

I'll have to look for the Willie Nelson track, that sounds too weird to not listen to.

I agree. It grows more on me with each listen.

I wish they could actually care about it tho. Between Julian sending his vocals on tracks back to the other guys over e-mail, and touring just for the money, it's like why are you even in a band anymore.

They put out good stuff while not caring, imagine what they could make if they had that spark again
