Newberry Comics

If you live in Massachusetts or New Hampshire swing by a Newberry Comics. Marvel must've been remaindering some hardcovers and the prices have been crazy.

I got the John Byrne Fantastic Four Omnibus for $30 and the Fall of the Mutants Omnibus for $25. :smt026

The John ByrneFF huh? I only saw Fall of the Mutants one and that's no interest to me.

I'd snag Byrne's FF for 30 bucks easily. I can justify that even if I have the trades.

DC almost never remainders their hardcovers. I've gotten a few but still. :smt013

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to see if they have the John Byrne Fantastic Four Omnibus. Hell, I might even buy the Fall of the Mutants at that price.

DC has very little on the shelves of the used/remainder bookstore I go to. They have started recently getting orders from diamond so they have been stocking more but compared to the marvel and image shelves their DC shelves are weak.

If you're near Burlington, MA, they had the John Byrne one this afternoon.

Sadly neither the New X-Men nor the X-Statix ones were marked down. :x

Just got back from the Manchester, NH one. I picked up the X-Statix omnibus for $30. No John Byrne one though. They also had Atlantis Attacks, Evolutionary War, and X-Tinction agenda.

I've been wanting the X-Statix omnibus for awhile now. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. :D

I didn't see it at my local store.

They also had a ton of $10 or less hardcovers.
