Yep, now by law we are forced to purchase a private product from a massive corporate infrastructure that has been so key in driving American health care costs sky high. Will we have to buy other private products/services?

I'd rather see the government off affordable health care coverage on a sliding scale based on income that is available to all citizens as an option.

Then I'd empower all hospitals and emergency rooms to turn away people without coverage.

If you choose not to have coverage, then that's your choice.

Obviously, there would be an exception for minors who can't control their own insurance choices.

I was really hoping for some real health care reform but this was the opposite of what I was hoping for. Buy private insurance by law! And I'm sure costs will really start coming down. :roll:

To be honest if I thought Dickhead Romney could win and the 'pubs take Congress and repeal this I'd probably vote Republican for the first time in my life. But its not like they would put up better health care, mandatory insurance was Republican idea in the first place. They just want to oppose it to get at FBH. Both parties have the corporate cock balls deep in them.

The political powers that be have a really weird relationship with corporations.

Even though this ruling has me slightly tempted to vote for Romney, I'm still gonna support my boy Gary Johnson.

At least they rejected the commerce clause argument and said it was just a tax. Though I wonder if they can tax me for not buying some other products now?

I heard that instead of jail, they'll smack her with a tax penalty instead.

One news reader up her said she thought this will cement Obama's re-election.
