Yeah, Ronaldo's been spoiled by playing for a team of Real Madrid's caliber. Now that he's with the national team he looked utterly lost and annoyed. And as a whole, Portugal seemed happy to park the bus until Gomez's got a goal after being invisible the entire game.

As for Germany, Boateng, Neuer, Hummels (MOTM IMO) and Badstuber shined. But good lord, Podolski probably gave Wenger second thoughts there, Lahm was pretty average and Schweinsteiger, Muller and Ozil were terribly ineffective.

I'm pretty sure Wenger knows better than to judge Podolski on one off game, he's scored 43 goals for Germany, he's not shit.

Wegner also bought Arshavin based on his Euro 2008 performance. And I know how good Podolski is, but that was not a good performance by any means.

That's the only reason anyone has ever been interested in Podolski. He was a bust at a big club and his only decent professional season was last year (aside from the 2nd division). He has a cannon for a left foot but that's really the only thing in his locker.
