Not a Seth McFarlane fan bit the opening was pretty good (if you like William Shatner as James T Kirk).

D'Jango's Christoph Waltz just won his second Best Supporting Oscar.

Avengers cast on stage coming up.

I cared even less for Paul Rudd & Melissa McCarthy's banter.

I loved Brave, but I didn't see the rest of the noms. The Burton-fare didn't interest me but I do want to see Wreck-it Ralph.

And the Avengers one and only shot at an Oscar ends in defeat.

And where were Scarlet and the Thor guy?

Expect to hear it a lot. One hour in and they've only done one major award.

That was literally painful.

I know that Halle Berry is a good choice to intro the Bond tribute, but I was never a huge fan...

I just hoped they dropped enough money to get them all on stage at one time.

These best pics clips reiterate what a great year it was for movies. So much great stuff.

Yeah - there needs to me a lot more than just Shirley Bassey (which was cool).

Well, yeah, there will be. That was just a tribute to Bond music.

Not much of a musical tribute if they never even hinted at Carly Simon (For Your Eyes Only), Duran Duran (View to a Kill) or Tom Jones (Thunderball). (or Adelle who's there)

I thought it was great. There's no way this ends by 11.

I admit, I'm enjoying this Les Mis performance. Except Crowe. He really can't sing.
