I already finished and reviewed Buntline special.
I still think "Sandman Slim" would be a good read. Not too long, it's urban fantasy... we have a lot of fans of stuff like that here already. The series is only up to book 2 if we liked it and someone wants to keep going with it. But Sandman Slim is the first volume and it's available in paperback.

I read the Alienist when it came out. It may be 600 pages, but I don't remember it being a long read.

Still no pick?

I LOVE BLUD BLOOD! - Rob Liefeld

Just because I don't know how to spell the language of some tiny African nation doesn't mean that I'm wrong in thinking that your attitude towards women is 100% wrong. Obviously, you're some skinny, single nerd living on the East Coast who probably derives value in life from wrestling matches, hoping that Wolverine gets to sleep with teenagers and engaging in casual drug use. You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

I don't know!!!!! I'm confused as to who was supposed to pick.
I'm fine with reading war books like those mentioned above so don't worry about my girlish feelings.

I'm up for it. A little non-fiction to shake things up.

Allen wrote:My biggest complaint is the weather. I really don't like the cold. It even snowed a couple weeks ago (3 inches). I had never really seen snow fall before. Cold in L.A. is 60 (18 or so C). Here, we are lucky if we get within 10 degrees F of that.
Today, the high reached 32. (0 degrees C)
Other than that, it's okay. I miss the food in L.A.
Didn't you study in Europe? Wouldn't it have snowed then?
