I just finished the Infection so I'd probably say no for the review group, but outside of here you guys should check it out. I really liked it.

I’ve tried ranking the standing so far. I have given everyone’s choices from 7 to 1 points. That’s seven points for their first choice to one point for their last. Then I’ve added the points. So far The Dante Club is number one with 22 points and 1984 is in last place with only 11. This is nothing official, of course.
David Bird:
7 David Bird 1984
6 Alima: Packing For Mars
5 Jude Terror: The Long Goodbye
4 Alima: In Mozart’s Shadow
3 Allen: The Dante Club
2 Chubbles: The Infection
1 Contramundi: Age of Odin
Allen:
7 Allen: The Dante Club
6. Alima: In Mozart's Shadow
5. Alima: Packing For Mars
4. Chubbles: The Infection
3. Contramundi: Age of Odin
2. Jude Terror: The Long Goodbye
1. David Bird: 1984

Cool, I'll look up summaries of each one and rank mine tomorrow (though I'm cool with reviewing whatever).

BTW, I am having some modem problems and so may not be able to log on the next couple of days. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

The Dante Club seems the favoured one and I'm okay with it as the choice.

Sounds good to me. Looks like there's a Kindle version:
http://www.amazon.com/Dante-Club-Novel- ... B000FBFMUWThe concept reminds me of some Neal Stephenson stuff.

some idiot on facebook wrote:I don't like your belittling tone, Jude. Just because I don't know how to spell the language of some tiny African nation doesn't mean that I'm wrong in thinking that your attitude towards women is 100% wrong. Obviously, you're some skinny, single nerd living on the East Coast who probably derives value in life from wrestling matches, hoping that Wolverine gets to sleep with teenagers and engaging in casual drug use. You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

Who's reading it yet? I'm on chapter 3 and having a hard time getting through the slew of characters thrown at me. I'm getting the hang of it slowly but surely.
