It picked up Harold's name at the end of this one as well.

Damn, I must've missed that.

I just figured he was a paranoid do-gooder, but after this last episode & the more he's trying to hide the facts from Ingram's son, I wonder what skeletons are in his closet.

Right at the very end after the convo with Reese and Fusco.

I did enjoy the reaction from that woman that Ingrams son met when he brought up "Uncle Harold". And I love she lives in a town that has the least monitoring capabilities as possible.

I was confused by that. Did Finch and the son both fly to the that town or did she come to New York?

Which is why she lied bout the machine, because she was being monitored.

So somebody who's so paranoid that she lives in a town with no means to watch her flies to NY where she can be monitored?

Don't know. I'd have to watch the episode again to figure that out. But it was a scene that just dropped me out of the story. Probably would have been better to have the son contact her by phone or do it at the end of the episode or (if they wanted to set up some dramatic tension) have the son fly to that town and then Finch would have to make a choice about helping Reese or go after the kid.

I thought the machine detected Ingram as a threat for some reason once Harold told him how it worked as it seems to be showing that survival instinct Finch programmed into it.

Weren't they partners with Finch being the silent partner while Ingram was the public face according to some old flashbacks?

Doesn't mean Harold had him eliminated and took the machine for himself. If Ingrams number came up, or Harold's did, I believe Ingrams death is somehow on Harold's hands.

Especially now we know his real name isn't even Harold.

That woman who Will met with, she probably created the machine, hence her living in Amishville. She knew exactly what happened. I also think the cork is not a celebratory thing, but a clue. There was probably poison in the champagne.

Also, I think Reese is a ninja.

Oh I have doubts about that. I dont think he killed him. I think someone tried to kill both of them and thats why Harold is all fucked up. Also why he keeps changing his name.

I think it was the NSa dude they built the machine for. He saw potential in it and wanted to focus it on individuals but it was clear that Finch didn't want that.

So after he go it, he cleaned house while he tried to hack it.
