For some reason the photos look alot brighter than they did on the camera's LCD.
The monitor on the camera is like any monitor and may be seem too bright or too dark depending on the situation.
It's gonna seem darker outside on a sunny day than indoors.
That's what I was talking about when I mentioned that the School pics I took were slightly underexposed.
I was relying on the cameras LCD which had the brightness turned up cause I mostly shoot outdoors.
It's a good idea to go by the histogram in the preview window when checking for exposure. You can see this by pressing the info or disp button.
