Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 - Deoxys Event

For those of you in Japan, a new event has been announced. This event is a reissue of the recent Masuda's Deoxys event in Japan and is to be distributed to Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 & White 2 games from March 20th to May 6th at various stores across Japan. As before, this Deoxys is a Level 100 Deoxys with the moves Nasty Plot, Dark Pulse, Recover and Psycho Boost.

Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 - Dragonite Event

For those of you in Japan, we have further details of the Dragonite Global Link event announced on Tuesday. This event is obtainable within Black, White, Black 2 & White 2 games with a password obtained int he databroadcast of the episode that airs on March 14th. The promotion will then run for 25 days until April 8th 2013. This Dragonite has the ability of Multiscale and the moves Dragon Rush, Safeguard, Wing Attack & Thunderpunch. The Event Database has been updated with details of this event.

Pokémon Rumble U

The first details from CoroCoro have begun to come out. The first of which deal with Pokémon Rumble U. This game for the Wii U is to come in Japan on April 24th 2013 for 1800¥. The game is the first Wii U game to use NFC (Near Field Communication) where you can purchase a figure in Pokémon Center stores and have it appear in game. The figures will launch on the same day for 200¥ each.
05:20: Story wise, the toy Pokémon have been lost from the shop after falling in the river. The task is to get back to the Toy Shop, while facing various bosses such as Chandelure. 6 Standard Figures and 1 Special Figure are to go on sale on April 24th with the Pikachu figure being known. The figures are trainable and you can record your battle information on them

Last I saw the yen was wavering around 93 or so... meaning the dollar was weaker than the yen, 100 ¥ = 93 cents. Close enough to a dollar that you'd say something like $2.20

That's reasonable - although I'm certain there'll be characters that fetch a much larger fee.

Fuck. They would announce this a MONTH after I purchased a 3DS XL.

I bought Black 2 weeks ago, but I haven't had much time to play it because I've had so many other games diverted my attention.

Better start it and and download Meloetta before that expires. Already missed Genesect and Kaledo.

UPDATE: It's official! In the shocker of the century, Nintendo has officially announced that the yellow and white Pikachu-themed 3DS XL will be heading to North American store shelves on March 24, coinciding with the release of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. It will go for the standard XL price of $199.99, comes with a 4GB SD card and will be available "while supplies last."

Pokemon Rumble U - more details, screens, footage

- first line of figurines includes Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Torchic, Piplup, Lucario and Victini
- Pokemon Centers will sell download codes for the game
- attack via the GamePad's touch screen
- various items that you can find within the game
- items will do things such as make you big or heal
- some levels have gimmicks that you can control
- others that will damage you
- each area has a boss at the end and has multiple levels
- timed battles also appear
- use the figures in the game and raise them using coins obtained within the game
- figures will be used in other games at a later date
