I kind of figured items were going to be a no no - but what I really want to know is if Bank will allow multiple game cartridges onto one Bank account (or do I need to transfer all my different game onto one X or Y game)?

Have no idea. It *sounded* like a service you'd use for a while so when Pokemon X2 and Y2 came out for the Nintendo 4ET, you could draw from it. but I could totally be wrong.

They said multiple games could be connected, but it will be 3DS locked. So you can put all your Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 stuff on there, and link up both X and Y, and future games.

Sucks, cause me, my cousin, his girlfriend, and our friend were all just gonna get one bank to facilitate trades easily.
Frank, sometimes I really wish you didn't beat that cancer.

Just read some more on it.

You can (permanently) transfer B/W and B2/W2 Pokemon into Bank. You can transfer in and out of X and Y. So it looks like it's console based, not cartridge based like Pokemon Box and Ranch were.

Only thing left to do between now and December is to move all the (worthwhile) Pokemon from the older games into one of my B/W games.

$5 a year - being able to house all my Pokemon (and the kids) - that's a no brainer.

I plan on sharing one bank with my kids and one pal and as long I have each person cartridge, it looks like it'll work using just my (brand new blue XY limited edition) 3DS. (Oh did I mention I have the new blue XY limited edition :-D )

Not having Bank cartridge based is awesome. Pokemon Box & Ranch were great but if you lost the game it connected with, you lost all the Pokemon being stored there. Having it as an app which can be ported into future consoles is a win win.

- have up to 24 Wonder Cards before having to make room for a new event
- events are also locked to the console & game's region
- Torchic event will be live online for all regions from October 12th to January 15th

Pokemon hanafuda teaser site
http://www.pokemon-hanafuda.com/

Hanafuda is a flower motif card game. NIntendo used to make these cards before they made videogames. Not sure if this will be a physical card set, but it should be fun seeing this.
