Whoa. So I just plug that in and I'm on? That'd be quality.

Though they discontinued it, you could get something similar to the Nintendo USB Wi-Fi connector and just plug it in when you want to play...

http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=95704&currency=USD&catalogId=10001&tranId=0&lastAction=setCurr&storeId=10001&languageId=-1&categoryId=11157&ddkey=http:SetCurrencyPreference

(they also have it used at several stores)

When Heart Gold came out I spent weeks trying to find one of these. Nintendo stopped making them in 2007 so good luck trying to find one of these in stores.

Likewise the knock offs. I found one on-line and that it never worked and then I finally found the official Nintendo one on ebay. I got it and all it needed was a driver to get it going. A driver Nintendo doesn't have anymore.

From my experience: either upgrade the console or lower your security.

Hmn odd. Those USB donle things are quite popular among Windows users (I use a Mac so tough luck for me). I see official used ones going for under $20...

Damnit, why is getting online in this day and age so hard.

If I can find a DSi for under 50.00 preowned by me when this new 3D comes out, I'll get one of them.

On the Skyarrow Bridge heading to the third gym.

Snivy, Tepig, Sawk & Musharna all at level 22.

(yeah I have a Snivy AND a Tepig - benefit of getting a free copy of White (took 45 minutes before I could trade him over).

I'm absolutely gutted I can't get my Pokemon game online, if I was to get a DSi, would the game just start again?

I admit I don't know enough about this stuff but the description states...
Supports 64/ 128/ 152 bits WEP encryption

From Nintendo's website...
What is WEP and WPA?
WEP and WPA are types of security that are used to protect home wireless networks. WEP is the only security setting that works with the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite. WPA and WEP are both compatible with the Nintendo DSi.

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en ... eyHelp.jsp

So isn't your possible device doing what the DS lite already does on it's own? It's the better WPA WPA2, PSK's etc settings that most use nowadays I'd think.

You can continue on your current game from ANY DS console. The only noticeable change to game play is that your Friend Code will eventually have to be changed for every device you switch too.

BTW - the password for the guy in Castelia is...

Everyone Happy Simple Connection

It's supposed to turn on your "relocator" which allows trades with the older games (I'll try it out later).
