Well, seems like we didn't even get past the second week. Saturday night was just awful and now I feel like crap. I'm gonna miss him. A lot. But things are not working out for us and I don't think they well. I guess it'll take me a while to recover from all this.

That's the pessimist's way of looking at it! Damn it man, you had some good times and opened yourself up a little more. Take this and build from it. DON'T MAKE ME MAKE YOU!

If one guy was interested in you, you should know others will be. POSITIVE SPIN!

Did I not warn you, bruh? Take it from someone who's been there, try your best to not let it get to you because things like this are just learning experiences. You've experienced things you've never before, things you didn't expect. Now you take mental notes at all the good stuff and bad stuff, and you learn from it, turn it into strength within yourself, turn it into a craft, etc. You know what works for you, what isn't working for you. You know your comfort level and in a sense you're more out of your shell. Things happen for a reason. If it didn't work out, it wasn't meant to. This guy played the part he needed to play in your life, now you move on to the next chapter of your life.

I always told myself I didn't really have a type, but thinking on it now ... I really, really do.

I'm still quite open-minded when it comes to "love" ... but yep, I'm not as big a wild card as I thought.

I have a type, but the ones I'm into don't seem to exist around me or they're straight.

When I go outside my type, drama ensues. A nigga can't win. :sigh:

You're right, it has been quite a learning experience. Our last date was kind of a disaster. We were in a gay bar, he wanted to dance, I tried to dance but I haven't danced in like ten years and then he said I was pretty bad at dancing and I started thinking that if I couldn't dance then he would eventually break up with me and so I decided that it'd be easier for me to go ahead and finish things before we got too close. And then I've spent the last few days thinking I made a mistake. Well, he called me today. I'd like to see him again. But I'm not really sure where things are going.

Friendly reminder, lads, that if you're not reading the (ahem)...

New York Times bestselling...

#1 selling DC Comics Graphic Novel on Amazon.com...

Batman: Noël, by the inimitable Lee Bermejo...

you really should be. Right now. Comics might be a sad mess these days, what with Fear Itself and DCnU and whatever the hell else is going on. But in the world of direct market graphic novels, business is good.

Go buy it. Now.
