Is that supposed to be just the X-men?

Because I kinda want Scott Summers. And I feel dirty for that :)

I'd love to be there, but I'm far, far away in the exotic land of underdeveloped Peru.

Well, we have great places but we also have a lot of poverty. The country is still very poor, miserable even. I just never visit those places I find depressing, but I'm very well aware they exist. Oh yes.

Meanwhile, I read Astonishing X-Men # 51 and I absolutely loved Northstar's wedding. Great issue, really.

Yep, though the industry needs to cool off on hyping up characters because they're LGBT.

"We have a gay character in a future comic? Somebody send a press release!"

Let the flow from the characters (as they're written), instead of the hype being thrust upon them because they like the same sex. :?

Absolutely. Northstar, Hulkling, Wiccan, there are so many fascinating gay characters in Marvel. Meanwhile, DC decided to erradicate Obsidian from the current continuity.

verily! Not that I'm an Obsidian fan--even less of an Alan Scott one--but gays getting erased from existence in real life is tough enough; Now Didio's going after the fictional ones too.

see what I did there? ;)

Meanwhile, as I read Avengers: the Children's Crusade again:

we had the lovely Wiccan and partially lovely Teddy Altman duking it out with Dr Doom--who did not pull one of his old reliables, "I knew it had to be...homosexuals!'--and living through it. There was a time when Doom probably would have gone after them just for being their ghettofab selves. Now he just wants to bang Wanda's sweet can.

I'm getting distracted :/

(times Doom had his hand on Wanda's ass in Children's Crusade: like five) Think about that. Doom digs him some muties.

Oh I noticed it.
I loved Children's Crusade, those moments between Wiccan and Hulkling in the last issue were just priceless.

Doom demands ass. That says a lot about his Latverian upbringing.
