Question...

This is the main board on The Outhouse, where Outhousers talk about everything. No topics are off limits, and it doesn't have to be about comics. All the topics from the other boards also show up in The Asylum, so you never have to leave1

Yeah, we're doing these for you guys, not for people who skip to the front page and then read like "DC Says Marvel smells like bum" and bounce.

I was thinking the other day that I would like to start doing the baseball articles again. Those were fun.

I wish you would, they WERE fun!

Which bring up another point: Anything anyone wants to write doesn't HAVE To be comics related. We want a wide variety of content. :D

I think we could spill over into anime/manga, sports commentary (forget ESPN), video games and wrestling without it being too much of a stretch.

Frankly, folks, I'd like to have contributions from actual members of the community. I think it's a good idea, one which makes the site more inviting, for the actual posters to have a hand in the site's content.

OK, well, if you all think my stuff is passable, sure.

I can post some in the back issue thread, out of loyalty there and do others for the column.

Now the questions.
Do you want random, weekly, biweekly or monthly? I've got lots of old comics and old English language adoptions of manga. I've been collecting since the 70s, so I got stuff.
How to do this? Basically, who do I pass them to and such?
Just some basic guidelines.

Hmmm, I could do a little anime too. I watch old and some new stuff.
You guys are the bosses, trust me, you don't leave a cat with authority.

""Timey" what? "Timey wimey"?"

DC and Marvel smell like paper to me. I like both companies. I just am not all that keen on the present stuff with a handful of exceptions, like Captain America and The Twelve.

I still like my old question at the Rama. I think I'll post it in the question thread. :-D

Well, I can do a little anime and manga.

I think McNut's one for wrestling. I've not watched that stuff since '98.

I have been meaning to give a review a go for a while now. I get my comics several days later than the rest of you though so they will always be slightly out of date from your perspective.

In terms of frequency, if you want to write biweekly, weekly, DAILY, whatever.... up to you.

Basically write your piece. Then send it to any of us mods (though I recommend either Deadfett or Keb, as they're the experts.)
