All of that is Loeb stuff. It doesn't matter anymore, because by now the character is pretty much 100% different. His motivations, his personality, his power levels.. Parker made him a much better character.

And I like that it's Ross. The whole "become that which you hate the most" aspect is more interesting to me than the cliched "spurned ex/rival revenge plot".

Fair enough but as I said before, we've already seen Ross as a Hulk before in the past so they were just rehashing something that was already done. Plus, Rulk is just Professor Hulk and Wade Eiling combined now. At least with Talbott, we have a character that hasn't been seen in decades so there is a lot of stuff they could do with him by making him into Rulk such as play up on his feelings for Betty, continue his competitive animousity with Bruce and have him still trying to kiss up to Ross.
