At his point, I don't think it is possible to recapture that lightning in a bottle that audiences in 1977 got when they first sat down in the theatre and saw "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...." followed by the tiny ship being pursued by the seemingly endless ship. Technology and effects have advanced too far, and story-telling has regressed too far to ever again make a movie like Star Wars. That "wow" moment will never again happen, unless someone figures out how to literally beam movies directly into your brain.
