Superboy, the television series, had some fun episodes but those special effects now look pretty dated

But if you want full cheese, nothing beats Supergirl with an aging campy Faye Dunaway as the villain and some pretty dumb special effect sequences

Getting old is a fact of life Ivy and Faye Dunaway (even with the filters) in Supergirl was a terrible career move and helped sink Supergirl on the big screen.

There are many divas in the entertainment business but Madonna is one of the worst and getting old is something the Material Girl fights against. But with record sales tanking and no new tour, she has her own skin care line which turns back time (along with her face lifts, botox and all the other fillers she has had). Here is the Like A Virgin singer and what she does every day to look so good.

But what about all this "respect" you keep spouting about in other threads? Or is that only relevant when you attempt to brown-nose Tim and Zechs?
Faye Dunaway is one of the better actresses of her time. It was the awful script that helped sink "Supergirl", not the presence of a big name screen star.

I never said Dunaway stinks overall as an actress but she was terrible in Supergirl. And yes, she can be a good actress, even a very good one but getting old is brutal to even the best and she has been somewhat of a trainwreck in her later years. Its why Madonna fights so hard to turn back time with all the fillers etc because nobody is hot forever as well as knows from many years in the entertainment industry.) And men are just as vain - look at some of the aging singers (Kenny Rogers etc) and what they have done to their faces. No wonder the plastic surgeons are so busy!

Technology is constantly cha-cha-changing and back in the 80s mobile phones (or cell phones) were as big as bricks.

I went to a store to look at their range of comics a few days ago and the 80s comics were ridiculously overpriced. Why is that (some) managers seem to only see dollar signs whereas every comic is concerned? I think some managers need to brush up on their comic grading too because a lot of those supposedly very fine comics in the white boxes were not VF (despite the sticker) but more VG to FN-. Same with those supposedly nm/mint comics because I don't remember nn/mint comics being folded down the middle but maybe the comic grading system has changed since I last looked?

There was also a large box of Conan magazines that in many cases were overpriced with some not so great condition issues being sold for fifty bucks each, while others were positively cheap at twenty bucks (even the worse-condition issues were selling for eight to ten dollars a piece!).
